Wilma was born November 8, 1948 in Le Mars, Iowa to Frank and Johanna (Kuiper) Van Der Brink. After graduating from high school, Wilma worked various jobs before working as a CNA at Valley Manor in Rock Valley for many years. Recently, she enjoyed being a Foster Grandparent at the Netherlands Reformed Christian School. Wilma will be remembered with fondness for the additional love, care, and support that she provided for her mother, Johanna, as she faced age related difficulties during her last few years. Wilma enjoyed going for car rides and vacationing, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Wilma is survived by her siblings, Ed (Linda) Van Der Brink of Alvord, Iowa, twin sister Freida (Leonard) Rozeboom of Rock Rapids, Iowa, John (Mary) Van Der Brink of Wayne, New Jersey, Duane (Doris) Van Der Brink of Rock Rapids, Iowa, and Floyd (Leah) Van Der Brink of Doon, Iowa; and numerous nephew and nieces.
