Roberto nacio el 17 de Septiembre del 2009 en Orange City, Iowa, el hijo de Venancio y Antonieta (Rubio) Topete. A Roberto le gustaba ir a la escuela preescolar, jugar con sus Amiguitos, y Hermanas. Tambien le fascinaba los trenes, carritos, y so'aba de ser bombero cuando creciera. Roberto decia que no queria crecer, pero aun le gustaba ponerse su chaqueta de bombero. El estaba ansioso de regresar a Okoboji con su familia y pasear en los juegos de agua.
Sobrevivientes de Roberto son sus Padres, Venancio y Antonieta; sus hermanas, Daniela Michelle, y Arleen; su abuelas, Anastasia Idarra Ramos y Amalia Garcia Ramos, y muchos familiares y amigos.
Le precedieron en muerte sus abuelos, Roberto Topete y Jorge Rubio Pe'a.
Hawarden, Iowa- Roberto Topete-Rubio, age 4, died suddenly on Sunday, May 18, 2014.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hawarden with Father Doug Klein officiating. Burial will follow in the Grace Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Porter Funeral Home in Hawarden. Visitation with the family present will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 8 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Condolences may be sent to www.porterfuneralhomes.com.
Roberto was born September 17, 2009 in Orange City, Iowa, the son of Venancio and Antonieta (Rubio) Topete. Roberto enjoyed going to preschool and liked to play with his friends and sisters. He loved riding his bike to the City Park and going down the slide with his little sister. He looked forward to spending time at Okoboji with his family and going on the log rides. Roberto was fascinated with trains and cars and dreamed of being a fireman when he grew up.
Roberto is survived by his parents, Venancio and Antonieta; his sisters, Daniela Michelle and Arleen; grandmothers, Anastasia Idarra-Ramos and Amalia Garcia-Ramos; and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Roberto Topete Caro and Jorge Rubio Pe'a.
Roberto will always be in the hearts of his parents, sisters, grandmothers, and family.
