ROCK VALLEY, IOWA – Reyes Felipe Lopez Lopez, 25, of Rock Valley, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022, from injuries suffered from an automobile accident.

   Visitation with the family will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. all on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rock Valley.    Reyes Felipe Lopez Lopez was born July 23, 1997, at Tajumulco, San Marcos, Guatemala, the son of Agustin Lopez Lopez and Julia Lopez Cash. He lived in Caserio Chantzaj, Tajumulco, San Marcos, Guatemala for 23 years before moving to Rock Valley, Iowa where he lived the past 2 years. He was employed at Valley Industrial Powdercoating in Rock Valley.

   Reyes is survived by his parents; children, Marta Gomez and Johana Marisol Lopez Gomez; siblings, Marcos Lopez Lopez (Lucia Martin) of Rock Valley, Rony Lopez Lopez of Rock Valley, Nery Lopez Lopez of Rock Valley, Urbano Lopez Lopez, Jeremias Lopez, Estela Lopez, and Jesus Lopez all living in Tajumulco, San Marcos, Guatemala.

   El velorio con la familia será de 11:00 a 13:00 horas. con una Misa de Cristiana Sepultura a las 13:00 horas. todo el sábado 24 de septiembre de 2022 en la iglesia católica de St. Mary en Rock Valley. Vivió en Caserio Chantzaj, Tajumulco, San Marcos, Guatemala durante 23 años antes de mudarse a Rock Valley, Iowa, donde vivió los últimos 2 años.
