Glenn Bluml

HAWARDEN, IOWA ~ Glenn Bluml of Hawarden, Iowa died on Monday, May 1, 2017 at the Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hawarden, Iowa with Father Doug Klein officiating. A Vigil Service will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday with a coffee time to follow at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The Porter Funeral Home in Hawarden is assisting the family. Glenn Anthony Bluml was born in Halbur, Iowa, the son of Joseph and Francis (Wittrock) Bluml. He graduated from the Halbur, Iowa High School.

Glenn married Sharon Kenagy on May 26, 1962. He enjoyed farming and golfing and spending time with friends and family.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Sharon of Hawarden, Iowa; two daughters, Kim Miller and husband Randy of Derby, Kansas and Kris Jepsen and husband Chris of Cherokee, Iowa; a brother, Don Bluml; three sisters, Charlene Stork, Margaret Hinners, and Ardella Irlbeck; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
