Eileen Moehlmann

HAWARDEN, IOWA – Eileen Caroline Moehlmann, 95, of Hawarden, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the Hillcrest Health Care Center in Hawarden.

Burial of her cremated remains will take place in the Riverside Cemetery in Akron, Iowa. The Porter Funeral Home in Hawarden is assisting the family. Condolences may be sent to www.porterfuneralhomes.com.

Eileen Caroline Moehlmann was born October 1, 1923 east of Akron, Iowa, the daughter of George and Etta (Grunnagle) Moehlmann. Eileen cleaned houses and later worked at Coilcraft in Hawarden. She was employed at the Hawarden Community Hospital for 12 years working as a nurse’s aide.

She is survived by her sister, Edith Packard of Hawarden; a niece, Carol Lynch of Quinn, South Dakota; a nephew, Butch Moehlmann of Princeton, Minnesota; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and his wife, Albert and Violet; a niece, Lois Solbue; a nephew, Dale Moehlmann; and an infant niece, Betty Ann Moehlmann.
