David Lee Kragt

We are saddened to announce the passing of David Lee Kragt on December 17, 2024, at the age of 57 in Sebring, Florida. David was born on April 11, 1967, in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota to Dr. Preston Kragt and Mary Lee (Haedt) Kragt.

 David graduated from Miami High School in Miami, Oklahoma, he then went to Northeastern Oklahoma A & M College and graduated with an Associates. He then went on to graduate with his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, minors in Communications & Economics at New Mexico State University. After this he became a licensed CPA.

 He is survived by his father Dr. Preston Kragt; children, Caitlyn (Kragt) Baker, Zach Kragt, and Tyler Kragt; son-in-law, Ramsey Baker; daughter-in-law, Jennie Kragt; grandchildren, Kimberlynn, Oaklynn, and Preston Kragt; and sisters, Mary Sue Johnson and Ann Vancouvering.

 Preceding him in death is his mother, Mary Lee Kragt and brother Alan Kragt.

 At a later date, the family will hold a private memorial service at Valley View Cemetery in Rock Valley, Iowa, in the Kragt Family Plot. Porter Funeral Home of Rock Valley is assisting the family with the memorial service. Condolences may be left for the family at www.porterfuneralhomes.com.
