Daryll DeWayne Wilson

   Daryll DeWayne Wilson, 22, of Hawarden, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 10, 2019.

   Visitation with the family present will be held Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, with a Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. conducted by Pastor Stuart Schreur, at the Porter Funeral Home in Hawarden, Iowa. Also, a visitation with the family present will be held Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 10 a.m. to noon, with a time of sharing to follow at the Williams-Woodward Funeral Home, 820 Pine Street, West Chicago, Il 60185.    Daryll DeWayne Wilson was born July 2, 1997, the son of Jerry DeWayne Wilson and Robin Lee Olenczuk in Elmhurst, Illinois.  Later, Jerry married Tamra Brook Daugherty and they made their home in Hawarden, Iowa, where Daryll grew up and attended West Sioux Schools. In his younger years, Daryll loved spending time with his cousins and other family members during the summer and at Christmas time back in Chicago.

   Daryll enjoyed his travels all across the United States while working with his father as a field network technician. The opportunity to travel to Europe for work was energizing to him, and he talked often of the experiences in Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, and Switzerland. His most recent adventure was a cruise to the Turks and Caicos Islands.  He built many friendships while gaming with people from all across the world and was glad to host a gathering of some of those friends.

   He is survived by his parents, Jerry Wilson and Tamra Wilson both of Hawarden; sister, Jada Wilson; and other siblings, Victoria Kemp, David Kemp, Jr., Olivia Garcia, and Andrew Garcia.

   Daryll is remembered fondly by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

   The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern, and kindness shown to them during this hour of bereavement.
