Dale Jager

Sibley, IA: Dale Jager, 61, of Sibley, Iowa, formerly of Doon, Iowa, died Thursday, September 6, 2018, at Sibley Specialty Care. Memorial visitation gathering will be held Friday, September 14, at 1:00 PM at Porter Funeral Home of Rock Valley.

Dale Eugene Jager, son of Richard and Hermina (Williamson) Jager, was born March 31, 1957, at Hudson, South Dakota. Dale spent most of his formative years living in Ohio until the family relocated to Northwest Iowa. He graduated from Central Lyon High School in Rock Rapids, Iowa. Dale worked as a machine operator at S.R. Manufacturing in Rock Rapids. He loved to spend time fishing.

Dale is survived by eight siblings, Joyce Nichols of Macon, Missouri, Roger (Debra) Jager of Doon, Iowa, Grant (Patty) Jager of Ponca, Nebraska, Larry Jager of Marathon, Iowa, Brenda (Chuck) Evans of Days Creek, Oregon, Paul Jager of Doon, Lisa (Lynn) Johnson of Spencer, Iowa, and Rita (Danny Rensink) Johnson of Hawarden, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Hermina; maternal and paternal grandparents; and sister-in-law, Terri Jager.

Memorial Service
