Constance (Connie) Ann Serck: A Life Brimming with Joy
Born to the world on January 29, 1946, at Hudson Hospital in Hudson, SD, Connie's 78 years were woven with the warmth of family ties and the steadfast threads of community. Connie, a Hudson High School '64 alumni, cultivated a life rich in simplicity and profound connections. Her constant presence was a beacon of familiarity and solace to those she held dear. After high school Connie attended Nettleton Career College where she graduated with a degree in business.
Connie was a familiar face to everyone in both the community of Hudson where she grew up, and the City of Canton where she worked and built a home for herself. No stranger to adventure and fun, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and looked forward to the annual week-long trip to Minnesota for fishing, swimming and friends. Connie loved her dogs, the shenanigans they got into and the company they brought her.
Her legacy is carried on through a chorus of family: survived by sister Bernadette & Brian Peeke of Olathe, KS and brothers Chris & Beth, Paul & Julie, and Bill & Kathy Jo Serck, all of Hudson. Her life's melody resonates through the laughter of 12 nieces & nephews and the echoed giggles of 25 great nieces & nephews.
She now joins the gala in the stars with her dearly departed grandparents, Chris & Elsie Serck, and Chris and Hazel Anderson, her parents Bernard & Carrie Ann Serck, her brother Jack Serck, and nephew Paul Mitchell Serck, where new adventures await.
As Connie embarks on her next big adventure, let us remember a life so beautifully lived and a woman so dearly missed.
