Brian Keith Dailey

Le Mars, Iowa ~ Brian Keith Dailey, 44, of Le Mars, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 14, 2020.

   A Celebration Of His Life graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2020 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Ireton, Iowa. Everyone is asked to please practice social distancing. The Porter Funeral Home in Hawarden, Iowa is assisting the family.

   Brian Keith Dailey was born July 7, 1975 in Anaheim, California, the son of GC and Catherine (Barnum) Dailey. Brian grew up in the Le Mars and Merrill, Iowa area and was a member of the Le Mars Class of 1994. He was employed at Smithco Manufacturing for many years and worked his way up to being a Quality Control Supervisor. Brian was known for being a jokester and enjoyed playing frisbee golf and his play station. He liked the freedom of riding his motorcycle and liked dragon art.

   Brian is survived by his mother, Cathy Dailey Van Wyhe; grandmother, Alma Barnum; brother, Corey Dailey and Jen Dailey; sister, Char Dailey Stoos and Wade Stoos; nephew, Darren Clausen and Mariah Clausen; and 2 nieces, Kindra Clausen Westhoff and her children and Kelsey Clausen and Nick Cronin; and many friends.

   Brian was preceded in death by his father, GC Dailey; step-father, David Van Wyhe; grandfather, Frank Barnum; and great-grandparents, Walter Gundlach and Harriet Gundlach.
