Boyden, IA: Bradley D. Golbuff, 59 of Boyden, Iowa, formerly of Rock Valley, Iowa, died Friday, August 9, 2019 at his residence. Visitation, with the family present, will be held Monday, August 12, from 3:00-5:30 PM at Porter Funeral Home of Rock Valley. A brief prayer service will follow the visitation at 5:30 PM with Dan DeVries officiating. Graveside services will be held at Crystal Township Cemetery at Crystal Lake, Iowa on Tuesday, August 13, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hope Haven.
Bradley Dean Golbuff, son of Gary and Sharon (Larson) Golbuff, was born February 25, 1960 at Des Moines, Iowa. Brad was a graduate of Emmetsburg High School in Emmetsburg, Iowa. After high school he moved to Rock Valley and lived under the care of Hope Haven. The last couple years Brad was living near Boyden, Iowa.
Brad had a deep love for his family. He enjoyed when he could spend time visiting them or when they came to visit him. He also liked to travel and over the years he was able to go on several trips. Singing was a joy of Brad’s and he would sing in the church choir when he could. Lastly, his enjoyment of animals would often leave him saying, “I’m an animal lover, all my life”. “I love dogs, rabbits and cats.”
Brad is survived by his two brothers, Tim (Kimberly) Golbuff of Edmond, Oklahoma and Dan (Mai) Golbuff of Polk City, Iowa; 3 nephews and 1 niece, Matthew, Mikey, Jacob, and Samantha. Brad was preceded in death by his parents, Gary and Sharon.
