Bonnie Rae Weberg, age 79, of Inwood, Iowa died Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Inwood with Rev. John Wolf officiating. Burial will follow at Richland Cemetery. Visitation, with family present, will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013 at Porter Funeral Home of Inwood from 6:00 ' 8:00 p.m. Donations in Bonnie's name may be made to The American Lung Association, American Heart Association and National Kidney Foundation. Bonnie was born in Gifford, Iowa to Vance and Velma (Smallwood) Adams. She graduated from Sioux Rapids High School in Sioux Rapids, Iowa. She married Don Weberg, August 17, 1952 in Inwood. They celebrated 61 loving years together. They lived in San Antonio, Texas; Fargo, North Dakota; Yankton and Viborg, South Dakota; and Ames, Ogden, Rock Valley and Inwood, Iowa.
Bonnie's most treasured memories were baking cinnamon and caramel rolls with her children and grandchildren. The kitchen was definitely a mess afterwards, but the goodies were delicious! She loved to sew blankets and crochet afghans for her family. Family always came first, holidays and celebrations were always special for her. Her only job out of the home was as a CNA at Fellowship Village, Inwood, From February 1991 to February 2003.
Survivors include: Husband-Don Weberg, children-Cindi Weberg, Gary Weberg, Greg Weberg, Cristen (Brad) Standley all of Inwood, Jo Ellen Stellner-Des Moines, Iowa, Julie Weberg- Clear Lake, South Dakota, Galen Weberg-Yankton, South Dakota, Caryn (Tim) Spracklin- Tea, South Dakota, Grant Weberg-Sioux Falls, South Dakota, 20 Grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 3 brothers-Sherrill (Reba) Adams ' Storm Lake, Iowa, Kenneth (Violet) Adams ' Wellsburg, Iowa, Ronal (Jan) Adams ' Salem, Oregon, Sisters-in-Law Joan Weberg ' Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Julie Adams - Odessa, Missouri, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Vance and Velma, Sister Shirley Hunter, Brother Gerald Adams, son-in-law Doug Stellner, daughter-in-law Julie Weberg, and brother-in-law Jon Weberg.
