Hawarden, Iowa~ Ava Kathleen Yoerger was born on Monday, January 12, 2015 at the Sanford USD Medical Center, and passed away early on Tuesday the 13th of January.
Private Family Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, January 16, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hawarden with Father Doug Klein and Father Roger Linnan concelebrating. Burial will follow the mass at the Grace Hill Cemetery in Hawarden. The Porter Funeral Home in Hawarden is assisting the family. Condolences for the family may be made at www.porterfuneralhomes.com.
Ava Kathleen Yoerger, the daughter of Adam and Amy was born at 11:05 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2015 at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She passed away and went to be with Jesus after her baptism, early on Tuesday, the 13th. Ava is survived by her parents, Adam and Amy of Hawarden and her brother and sister Benjamin and Ellie; also surviving are her grandparents, Stan and Joan Yoerger of Merrill, Iowa and James and Phylliss Van Tilburg of Hull, Iowa; great-grandparents, Melvin Van Otterloo of Hull, Iowa and Thomas and Margie Van Tilburg of Rock Valley, Iowa; uncles and aunts and their families, Alise and Mark Allan, Kiley and Brady, Erin and Michael Philipp and Alexander, Jeremy and Lory Van Tilburg, Cade, Blake, and Colin, and Christy and Scott Saeger, Ross, Katie, and Kelsi. Ava’s God Parents are Kiley Kathleen Allan and Cade Allen Van Tilburg.
Ava Kathleen was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, John Clem and wife Kay Mertes, Frank and wife Valeria Yoerger, and Lucille Van Otterloo.
