Arie Huyser, 65, of Inwood, Iowa died at his residence on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the First Reformed Church in Rock Valley, Iowa with Rev. Garry Nyenhuis officiating. Burial was held at a prior date at Richland Cemetery in Inwood, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to First Reformed Church in Rock Valley and condolences for the family may be left online at www.porterfuneralhomes.com.

Arie Henry Huyser was born January 22, 1950 in Hull, Iowa to Cornie and Mary (Gaalswyk) Huyser. He graduated from West Lyon High School and attended Nettleton Business College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After college, Arie worked for Roorda Machine Shop in Rock Valley, Iowa before buying a farm and farming south of Inwood, Iowa. He enjoyed fishing and was known for his pies, but family was the most important thing to him. Arie loved family gatherings, spending time with his nieces and nephews, and watching his nieces and nephews at countless sporting events.

Arie is survived by his 6 siblings, Henrietta (John) Van Den Brink of Sioux Center, Iowa, Bertha (Gary) Riphagen of Doon, Iowa, Betty (Henry) Wolfswinkel of Sioux Center, Iowa, Henry (Laurie) Huyser, Carolyn Huyser, and Alvin (Kris) Huyser all of Inwood, Iowa; and several nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cornie and Mary; brother, Marvin; nephew, Pat Van Den Brink; and 3 nieces, Korrina Huyser, Isabelle Huyser, and Lilly Huyser.
