Hawarden, Iowa- Adrianna 'Ada' Bultman, 84, of Hawarden, died suddenly on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the Autumn Wind Assisted Living in Yankton, South Dakota.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hawarden with Rev. Todd Bunge officiating. Burial will follow the luncheon in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Ireton. Visitation will begin at noon Thursday, with the family present beginning at 6:00 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home in Hawarden.
Ada Bultman was born August 11, 1929 in Sioux Center, Iowa, the daughter of Peter and Christina (Weyers) Lockhorst. She attended school in Sioux Center. She married Leslie Webert August 6, 1954. Leslie died June 18, 1972.
Ada later married Darold Bultman on December 2, 1978 in Hawarden, Iowa. Ada was employed at Coilcraft in Hawarden and Custom Coils in Alcester before retiring in 1991. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed doing embroidery.
She is survived by her husband Darold; four children, Marcia DeWall and husband Randy of Craig, Colorado, Bonnie Webert of Hawarden, Peggy Winter of Henderson, Colorado, and Randy Webert and wife Gayle of Yankton, South Dakota; two brothers, Don Lockhorst and wife Deanna of Ireton, Iowa and Paul Lockhorst of Hawarden; four sisters, Jeanette Boogerd of Hull, Iowa, Dorothy Hulshof and husband Melvin of Ireton, Christina Cleveringa and husband Garold of Sioux Center, and Grace Oldenkamp and husband Herman of Orange City, Iowa; sister-in-law, Priscilla Lockhorst of Ireton; six grandchildren, Melissa DeWall, Jamie DeWall Winters and husband Ed, Andy DeWall and wife Crickett, Sarah Myhaver and husband Dustin, Cami Barents, and Ryan Barents and wife Joyce; eight great-grandchildren, Brady, Jayce, Zoey, Jared, Zachary, Jesse, Harlee, and Elle; and many nieces and nephews.
Ada was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Betty Jean Webert in 1955; husband, Leslie Webert in 1972; brother, Peter Lockhorst; sister-in-law, Geri Lockhorst; and brother-in-law, Fred Boogerd.
