Adrian Landegent

Inwood, Iowa - Adrian Landegent, 82, of Inwood, Iowa died Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Hegg Memorial Health Center in Rock Valley, Iowa.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2018 at the First Reformed Church in Rock Valley, Iowa with Rev. Dr. Verlyn Boone and Rev. David Landegent officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be the hour prior to the service at the church. The family requests donations be made to your favorite charity.

Adrian Landegent was born September 23, 1936 to John and Annie (Vander Linden) in rural Rock Valley, Iowa.

He was born, raised, and lived in the Rock Valley area where he attended country school. On June 21, 1967 he married Nyla Hoekman at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. He was an OTR Truck Driver at Kooima Mfg., now Total Component Solutions, retiring at age 65 in 2005.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Nyla; his 2 daughters, Laura (Gary) Haney of Estherville, Iowa and Lisa (Mark) LeDeaux of Tempe, Arizona.; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; along with a brother, Bill (Alma) Landegent of Brandon, South Dakota and a sister, Kay (Jack) Van Otterloo of Lakewood, California.

Adrian was preceded in death by his parents, John and Annie; his siblings, Johanna (Henry) Wynia, Hubert, Case, John, Helen Lathrom; and 3 nephews.
